Application:
1)It is one of the important raw materials for new-type special engineering plastic polyimide, polyether-imide, polyester-imide, polymale-imide, polyaryl-imide and other high-temperature resistant resins.
2)It is also raw material for synthesizing 3, 3’, 4,4’-dimido diphenyl aether which is the principal monomer for preparing a number of aromatic heterocyclic heat-resistant macromolecule materials.
3)It is also used as the raw material and cross-linking agent for synthetic macromolecules like high-performance epoxy resin and polyurethane.
4)It is also a substitute for the cancer-generating benzidine in producing azo dye, active dye and spices. So far, direct dyes of different color levels including scarlet, bright red, yellowish brown, green, gray, blue, bright orange and black have been developed using 4,4'-Diaminodiphenyl ether as the raw material, which can be used to dye silk, wool, cotton and hemp, with the color fastness and fixation ratio both higher than benzidine dyes.
